RE: Suburban Water Heater Anode

Why would you want to leave it out? Just screw it back in and that will protect the threads from rusting.

RE: Need some opinions on Warranty work

This is a brand new unit? Let them carry it back to the factory and do all that work right, not a patch patch job.

RE: Rock/mud guards

I use "Rock-Solid", mounted right to the bumper as I felt their instructions made it sort of weak and did not go high enough up under the bumper.

RE: JACKING WHEEL ON 5TH. WHEEL TRAILER

Run it up on a block that will raise one wheel high enough to adjust the brakes, change tire etc. Guess if you wanted both wheels up you could put blocks on both sides. I would always have it hitched to my truck if raising either by blocks or a jack.

RE: Just adjusted brakes on 5th wheel

" moving the handle downward tightens the brakes. " down and out is how I remember the procedure.

RE: Buying Diesel in Mexico... make sure you have a permit

Looks like your okay if your tank is original factory installed and not an add-on.

RE: camp grounds between Birmingham and Huntsville

Without getting a map out, we stay at Deer Run in Troy, AL on 231. Might try
RVParkreviews.com or use a Trailer Life, Woodalls Campbooks.Troy is a bit south of Birmingham so that won't work if the OP is heading north.

RE: Dometic Refigerator

If you don't have 12volts to the contol board or from the control board it won't work. There is a fuse located on my control board, also has your fridge been in the shop on the recent recall?

RE: Help with Dish Setup

Yes a bent dish can cause you to have no signal. I would suggest you hook the dish up to the receiver with a length of coxal cable direct and the receiver direct to TV with a length of coxal cable direct...bypass all of your trailer cable until you are able to get a good signal....JMO

RE: Running / clearance lights on while parked....how?

Recommend you use an "in line fuse" in that jumper. Also just remember some folks camping do not want lights flashing or loud music.

I put the Timbrens on 8 years ago and have never had a problem. Several like them and several like the Air Bags so take your pick.

RE: Brake adjustment help needed!!!!!

The wheels will move a slight bit forward after applying the brakes as the magnets must expand with the wheels to make contact. They should still lock up the wheel after a slight roll forward.

I would have a dealer do a leak test and find all of the possible leak sources.

RE: Where Does Everyone Winter?

Either in the RGV of Texas, or Arizona. Never Florida as I lived there a long time and still have a son that lives in the Orlando area. RGV is the most Snowbird friendly location IMO.

RE: wheel temps 3 same 1 diferent?

I would be concerned. Is the high temperture at the hubs ( indicating perhaps a bad bearing, dragging brake etc ) or at the outer edges of the rim indicating perhaps a under inflated tire or bad tire. Good Luck
